Structural Disruption

Alpha Industries and GR10K rework the CWU-45 through a process of precise reconstruction. GR10K approaches the jacket with what it calls operative restoration – preserving the original garment while subtly altering its structure and context. The padded lining has been removed, effectively emptying the jacket to shift its silhouette and weight, resulting in a lighter, more fluid shape.

With a museum patch, corded zipper pull and stripped lining, the CWU-45 is reassigned as the uniform of guards at the fictional HERTRUDE WADSWORTH – MUSÉE DES ARTS APPLIQUÉS.
